International Geographic Information Summer Schools at University of Salzburg/Austria
Geographic Information Summer Schools organised by Z_GIS aim at assuring top quality short intensive training courses and the internationalisation of GI study programmes. Participants
consist of students of the UNIGIS network, international universities, interested members of the GI community and public and private companies from all over the world. Lectures by
distinguished scholars and researchers are complemented by workshops, lab sessions and excursions that give students the opportunity to prepare for an international work force, obtain
qualifications and experiences in GIScience, and build strong inter-personal and team skills.

The Z_GIS Summer School 2010 is dedicated to the theme of Bridging Geographic Information Science (GIS), Landscape Ecology (LE), and Remote Sensing (RS)
for landscape analysis and landscape planning. Participants with an interest in GIS, Remote Sensing and Landscape Ecology are welcome to attend the short intensive course
from June 29 - July 09, 2010. Participants also have access to the Geoinformatics Forum / AGIT conference from July 06 - 09, 2010. Conferences are included in the course fee.
EnviSDI Summer School

The Z_GIS Summer School 2010 is dedicated to the theme of Spatial Data Infrastructure for environmental datasets and is hosted by Salzburg University's.
Participants with an interest in SDI related to environmental datasets are welcome to attend the short intensive course from June 29 - July 09, 2010 in the world cultural heritage city of Salzburg. Participants also have access to the Geoinformatics Forum / AGIT conference from July 06 - 09, 2010. Conferences are included in the course fee.
