CASCADOSS műhelymunka-tanácskozás Budapesten 2009. február 27-én

CASCADOSS műhelymunka-tanácskozás
Budapesten 2009. február 27-én

Ma érkezett meg az EU CASCADOSS projekt magyar konzorciumi tagjának, a HUNAGI tag Compet-Terra Bt-nek a felhívása:
"A Compet-Terra Szervező és Tanácsadó Bt. az Európai Bizottság FP6-os programja támogatásával megvalósuló CASCADOSS (http://www.cascadoss.eu) projekt magyar partnere tisztelettel meghívja Önt, a nyílt forráskódú, szabadon felhasználható térinformatikai szoftverek használatának lehetőségeit és korlátait elemző budapesti műhelymunka-tanácskozására. A részvétel ingyenes, de regisztrációhoz kötött, mely a http://infotrade.hu/cascadoss weboldal REGISZTRÁCIÓ menüjében lehetséges.
A rendezvény részben a 2009. január 27 és 30 között Szegeden, hasonló témában tartott összejövetel eredményeit, a felmerült kérdéseket és válaszokat hivatott összefoglalni, - tehát azokhoz szól, akiknek Szegeden nem volt alkalmuk megismerni a CASCADOSS projektet, annak módszertanát -, részben pedig a Szegeden megfogalmazott gondolatok továbbvitelét tűzte ki céljául, tehát a januári résztvevők és előadók itteni megjelenése is kiemelten fontos.
Várunk minden érdeklődőt az államigazgatásból, az önkormányzatoktól, for- én nonprofit szférából, felsőoktatási intézményekből, kutatóhelyekről, egyaránt.
A rendezvény helyszínét a Földmérési és Távérzékelési Intézet (1149-Budapest, Bosnyák tér 5) biztosítja.
Várjuk a FÖMI „oktatótermében” 2009 február 27-én, pénteken 10h-kor.
Tisztelettel,
Compet-Terra Bt.
HUNAGI tag"

We have no option but to build a sustainable and knowledge-based society. The EU is working on it, but we should do better because we can do better. This is a transition that we have to make in order to remain globally competitive: the EU's assets do not lie any longer in resources or low-tech industries but in brains", the commissioner states.
