Aki többet szeretne megtudni a vendéglátóinkról annak a következő két weblapot ajánlom: http://www.karolyrobert.hu/

Megint új helyszínre költözik a konferencia, Gyöngyösre.
A konferencia  elvi  alapállása a kerekasztal, ahol minden résztvevő egyenrangú.
Budapest, 2011.  szeptember 8.
Üdvözlettel:
KG

Térinformatika oktatása egy változó oktatóhelyi környezetben - műhely Leuvenben

Ludo Engelen (K.U. Leuven) írja minapi levelében:

Description: Description: mannetjeklein
1-day workshop “GIS-education in a changing academic environment” held
on the 18th November 2011 in Leuven.
REGISTRATION NOW OPEN.

Térinformatikai Csúcs Dohában - The Middle East Geospatial Summit in Doha

Megismételjük júliusi hírünket. Közel-kelet térségében a térinformatikai piaci igények iránt komolyan érdeklődő hazai vállalkozások figyelmébe ajánlható a Fleming Europe  körlevele. Abu-Dhabi). Ime a beérkezett figyelemfelhívás:

Szakterületünk a rivaldfényben az Eye on Earth szakmai csúcson

Ezek a következők:

  • Working Group 1: Policy, Governance and Institutional Networking
  • Working Group 2: Content and User Needs
  • Working Group 3: Technical Infrastructure
  • Working Group 4: Capacity Building, Education and Awareness Raising
  • Working Group 5: Applications Showcase

AGILE 2012 - Bridging the GI Sciences

Minapi postánkból. Ludo Engelen (K.U. Leuven írja):
"Please forward this mail to anyone interested. Note the deadline for paper submission is the 13th of October, 2011]
15th AGILE Conference on Geographic Information Science
DEADLINE FOR PAPER SUBMISSION APPROACHES!!!!

24-27 April 2012, Avignon, France
Fifteen years after the publication « Geographic Information Research: Bridging the Atlantic », edited by Max Craglia, one of the founders of AGILE, and Helen Couclelis from the NCGIA, you are invited to attend the 15th AGILE International Conference. As the bridges of Avignon and the Gard which have crossed the History, as the painter Van Gogh who travelled from the Netherlands to South of France, we shall try to emphasize the research in geoinformation science, geomatics and spatial analysis where different disciplines, epistemologies and scientific cultures meet. On behalf of the AGILE council, we invite you to participate in the next AGILE International Conference on Geographic Information Science that will be held in Avignon, France.
Call for Papers

Contributors are invited to submit:

Ø      Full papers: maximum 6000words manuscript of original and unpublished fundamental scientific research. Highquality scientific submissions will be accepted for presentation at the conference and will be published in the Springer Lecture Notes on Geoinformation and Cartography. We especially encourage PhD students to submit full papers. Papers must be written in correct English according to the Springer formatting guidelines.

Note: AGILE 2012 is running a double-blind review process. In preparing your manuscript, do not include any information which could reveal your identity, or that of your coauthors. The title section of your manuscript should not contain any author names, email addresses, or affiliation status. In the body of your submission, you should eliminate all direct references to your own previous work. That is, avoid phrases such as "this contribution generalizes our results for XYZ". Also, please do not disproportionately cite your own previous work. In other words, make your submission as anonymous as possible. We need your cooperation in our effort to maintain a fair, double-blind reviewing process.

Ø      Short papers: 2000 to 3000words manuscript of original and unpublished research work. Highquality scientific and strategic (industrial and governmental) submissions will be accepted for presentation at the conference and will be published in the AGILE proceedings. Papers must be written in correct English according to the submission template and formatting guidelines.

Ø      Poster proposals: 500 to 1000words manuscript of original scientific and strategic research work. Highquality submissions will be accepted for poster presentations at the conference, which will provide the exceptional opportunity to stimulate scientific discussions and exchange novel ideas. Posters proposals must be written in correct English according to the submission template and formatting guidelines.

Authors’ instructions are available on the web site of the conference. All submissions must be sent in electronically via the online conference manager (coming soon).
