India földmérési szolgálatának 250 éves évfordulója jegyében rendezik az idei Geospatial World Forum nagyrendezvényt

Ma érkezett meg a GWF szervezők körlevele. Ebből egy figyelemfelhívó részlet:
                                                                 Forrás: GWF info@geospatialworldforum.org
"Geospatial World Forum 2017 is JUST around the corner. With a futuristic theme of "Geospatial + Deep Learning: Shaping Smarter World", we're aiming to share and discuss our vision of the future. But we can't really discuss the future without addressing the past, can we? Monumental things are happening at Geospatial World Forum this year. Survey of India (SoI), the country's oldest surveying and mapping agency is celebrating 250 years of its existence."

A jövő közlekedése 2030 után. Konferencia Kölnben. A helyfüggő szolgáltatások és M2M aranykora?

A mai postából:

The Next Generation of Surface Transportation 2030 and Beyond
- Revolutionary concepts to dramatically improve traffic flow
- Targeting zero road deaths
- Environmentally sustainable transportation
- Funding the future of transportation
CONFERENCE STREAMS
QUANTUM SHIFTS
We will examine some remarkably simple changes that would radically transform surface congestion. We will also examine and illustrate macro shifts that would make further significant changes to the overall sustainability and manageability of surface transport.

VISION ZERO
Can there really be scope to create a zero-fatality transport environment? The building blocks are apparent already, but is the zero vision a reality on the surface and in the air? And if not, what can we expect to see in terms of better life-saving systems and methods? Drones are already being developed to deliver essential equipment to paramedics, so it may be that Vision Zero is achieved through a combination of inputs and developments.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
Major changes are being created by the growing popularity and viability of electric vehicles. We will review the 2030 vision of next-generation vehicles for passengers and freight, and examine the effect of the demise of the internal combustion engine on vehicle manufacturers and the highway infrastructure, including 'filling stations' of the future.

INFRASTRUCTURE AND PROJECT FUNDING
Governments constantly fail to create and provide cohesive transportation planning. Funding frequently dries up. Projects get put back. This session will review successful private funding and joint funding partnerships and how these may be able to be expanded in the future. Who will the players be?
Submit your proposal immediately or
no later than 23 January 2017
We are inviting you to put forward a conference paper for consideration. The paper should provide a technical insight, share unique challenges and experiences, or discuss technical solutions. If you have worked on a successful project, have an opinion you’d like to share with the industry, or a theory you would like to discuss, you should submit your paper’s title and a 100-150-word abstract.
If you wish to discuss your proposal, call or email Nick Moller, programme director, on +44 1306 871209 or email nick.moller@ukipme.com
