Commercial UAV Expo is a conference and exhibition focused on expanding commercial uses of UAS technology. Candid and unbiased, the goal is to share knowledge and best practices among end users in systems selection considerations, integration of UAS technology with other data capture technologies and workflows, regulatory landscape, safety and training considerations, processing large volume data and more.  National Data Integrity Conference 2015 !

"Hosted at Colorado State University from May 5th - 8th, 2015, this conference aims to provide attendees with both a high level understanding of research data challenges and impart practical tools and skills to deal with them.

Topics Include:

Data reproducibility, validity, privacy, security, visualization, reuse, access, preservation, rights and management

Sessions will feature 19 nationally renowned speakers from the NIH, NSF, Nature Publishing Group, Department of Health and Human Services, Stanford University and more!

Includes an optional two-day Preconference Data Carpentry Workshop

The Data Carpentry Workshop is designed to teach basic concepts, skills and tools for working more effectively with data. The workshop is for learners with little to no prior knowledge of programming, shell scripting, or command line tools.

Topics covered include:

• How to use spreadsheet programs (such as Excel) more effectively and the limitations of such programs.
• Getting data out of spreadsheets and into more powerful tools --- using R or Python.
• Using databases, including managing and querying data in SQL.
• Workflows and automating repetitive tasks, in particular using the command line shell and shell scripts.

Data Carpentry Preconference Workshop (May 5th & 6th): $75.00 (includes breaks with food & lunches)

Budapest Drones Conference - nemzetközi konferencia a távírányított repülők használatának jogi kérdéseiről

A Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság a drónok használatából eredő magánélet- és adatvédelmi megfontolásokról szóló nemzetközi konferenciát rendez.

Időpont: Budapest, 2015. február 5-6.

A konferencián adatvédelmi és alapjogi szakértők, jogalkotásiés jogi szakértők, légügyi és műszaki szakértők, iparági képviselők,piaci szereplők, tudományos kutatók és társadalmiszervek képviselői vesznek részt.

Dr. Péterfalvi Attila NAIH elnök úr megtisztelő megkeresését követően a kérdéskörben HUNAGI tájékozódott nemzetközi kapcsolatrendszerében, így november folyamán a Digitális Föld Csúcstalálkozón (gis.chubu.ac.jp/summit2014/),  a LAPSI EU projekt (lapsihu.blogspot.com) zárókonferenciáján,  az Európai Térinformatikai Társaság (www.eurogi.org) közgyűlésén, majd a DGI 2015 januári londoni védelmi és biztonsági konferencián annak a HUNAGI és a Global Spatial Data Infrastructure (www.gsdi.org) szervezet által vezetett kerekasztal vitájában, de a szakirodalomban is: a Coordinates szaklap (www.mycoordinates.org) januári számában összefoglalt ICAO kezdeményezésekről. Bár mindmáig nem állt össze átfogó, tiszta kép a helyzetről, úgy gondoljuk, hogy a jelen nemzetközi konferencia kapcsán a HUNAGI tisztségviselői, tagjai és partnerei pontosabb képet nyerhetnek arról, milyen módon tudnak hozzájárulni ismereteik, tapasztalataik és referenciáik alapján egy egységes európai/honi jogszabályi környezet kialakításához amely tekintettel van az adatvédelem és  a magánélet sérthetetlensége biztosításának szempontjaira is.
